We’re in the heat of summer, who wants a burger? I do! These healthy burgers with a kick are always a hit in our house.
1 lb bison
1 jalapeno pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
Large lettuce leaves
1 sliced tomatoe
1 sliced avocado
Lightly saute onion and garlic until soft and allow to cool.
Mix with jalapeno in a large bowl.
Add bison egg and a dash of salt and mix thoroughly.
Form into patties and refrigerate for 1 hour to set
Cook on the BBQ for around 5-7 minutes per side.
Serve on the lettuce, garnished with tomato and avocado
